Ahh, Knebworth... the memories. My first Genesis gig and what a spectacle! 120,000 people allwith one thing on their mind: Genesis! The show made a great impression on this 16 year old... I was "adopted" by a group of older fans fo the day and regaled with tales of previous tours etc... Visually the gig was stunning and musically flawless with everyone playing to the best of their abilities. No quibbles over guitarists on this evening; Daryl did just fine! Phil's Vaudeville antics were more than compensated for by the musical excellence of the band! A gig that will always live in my memory [alanh] |
