Nice sounding show, even though I have given it a B rating for sound quality, not quite a B+. [NeilC] The source for this recording was Jeroen Haans. His version is 2nd generation, but he was on the trail, for a few months, of the master itself but unfortunately, it eluded him. The SQ was told to me, in advance, of being 'average' to 'good', which I think is accurate and the remastering that was applied to it enhanced it slightly. But again, given the source, a remastering wasn't really expected to yield a significant improvement. But, it was a heretofore unheard of recording, unearthed mid last year, so finding something new is still always fun. MB [MB] |
