The Highland version was good but you haven't heard anything until you get hold of this one. Easily one of the best audience recordings ever, this version is up there with modern digital audience shows, and the small venue means a great acoustic. The band sound energised and the crowd are having a blast- recommended. [LivingForever] Everyone that hears this show raves about the crowd electricity, the incredible sound and top-shelf setlist. This is THE definitive version of Supper's ready. A mandatory recording! [pablo] Mandatory is correct! I put this show on today after not having heard it in awhile. I knew it was great but I had forgotten just how great it is. It is, in my book, the best audience recording of this band, period! The small club atmosphere is electric and the performance is top notch! Get it! It is a must! [duke23] |

A truly awesome experience - learning of the gig the night before - schleping down to the marquee at 6:30am to pick up some tickets (they were like little vending machine stubs!) - getting to stand at the centre front stage for one of the most amazing gigs ever - being "inside" the varilites when then turned into Phil during Afterglow was breathtaking ( .... and Tony actually smiled at the end of the gig - or was I just tripping!!). To say it was tightly packed was something of an understatement and just a tad sweaty! The CD doesn't do it justice - despite being one of the best ever! .... with that 3 Hammersmiths and 6 of the best inside a week it took me an age to learn to stop floating!! [CaptainRansid] |
