Improves quite a bit after the first few songs - this is apparently due to the recording engineer at the sound desk realising that the levels are too high and correcting the problem. Actually sounds pretty good from Dodo onwards. [LivingForever]

One of the best BURPs, certainly the best Saratoga. [speedy]

I was disappointed with this recording. Very rough in the beginning, and then only marginally better after that. Despite being the only sbd recording from the tour, you are better going for the best versions of the shows on 8.22, 9.27 and 9.29 in 1982. [pablo]

This one also dissapointed me a bit... It is a soundboard but I think it lacks the quality of a real soundboard show. Very muddy and well has some problems with the sound. Also to bad that there is only 44 seconds or so from cinema show and just the 2nd half from afterglow... Good to hear suppers ready and lamb/watcher though... [santibanks]

Muddy. [Gigio67]

Show Memories Show memories
This was the third time I saw Genesis (first two times were on Abacab tour (Nassau & Syracuse)), and to this day it remains the best Genesis show, maybe even the best concert I have ever seen. Perhaps it was because there was a lot about this particular mini-tour that surprised me. The show itself was a surprise - a friend had to tell me they were on tour, and it was fortunate that he was able to score me a ticket.

As you all probably know, the set they played that tour was unlike any other they have played since (in terms of content and song placement) - it took me a while to figure out that the purpose of the tour was largely to rehearse for Milton Keynes - but before seeing the show, I had no way of knowing that. However, from the first moments that the first notes of "Dance on a Volcano" rang out, I knew we were in for a hell of a night, and we were... all the way through Supper's Ready and, most notably the moment when I realized that "Watcher of the Skies" was sneaking underneath that bizarre "Lamb Lies Down on Broadway"....

It was a perfect night at a perfect venue during a great time in my life, and since then, it's lived only in my memory until y'all re-animated it.

Thank you!
