Excellent version - the most complete and nicely remastered. The best Duke boot? [LivingForever] Right what you hear if you wear a headphones plugged into a soundboard... the sound of Phil's tom toms is amazing... nice mistake of Tony on the beginning of "Vine" instrumental (around at 5'30"), when he stay for almost two measures in the odd beats on his cp70 piano :-) [Gigio67] A small note on the instrumental of 1ftv. It is Phil that started a beat earlier with drumming so somewhere they managed to get it right. Very interesting stuff... Also the thing sound strange for a larger part of the Prophet5 stuff. [santibanks] Best sounding recording from 1980 - but not the best show! Phil's voice is in really bad condition this night. What a pity ... [kaspergm] Not the best sounding recording from this tour; try out TM Production's versions of April 17th and May 7th. This is a nice soundboard document since there are so few available from this tour. Only this date and June 20th are represented. Based on that information alone, you really must have this. Phil's voice was shot on this night and they had some performance errors here and there but nevertheless the sound quality for a 1980 Soundboard is darn good. Get it. [duke23] |
