This recording is in my oppinion by far the best sounding bootleg of these songs (not counting official material). Sounds better than the Coaster Factory set, but is less complete. I have edited this recording into a single disc by removing commercials. [kaspergm] I have the Westwood One shows 93-18, 99-33, and 93-45, plus the King Biscuit "Best of" show from April 1989 on CD which I believe is the only digital source for Dance/drums/Los Endos. I don't think Westwood One has included those tracks in their CD broadcasts--so is this compilation CD or LP sourced? [squonkman] The original version I got came with a Cue Sheet from Radio Broadcast "For Airing the Weekend of 7/29/83", as the .txt file says. I downloaded this from Speedy through DC++. The Cue Sheet is quite elaborate with all songs listed, run times, space for local commercials as well as nation-wide commercials, etc. That broadcast does include 6 sequences, the last being "Volcano" / "Los Endos", as the file reads. Of course, the Cue Sheet file could be a forgery, but I see no reason for anyone to go to the pains of faking this, if it's not real. [kaspergm] Frankly, guys, I don't understand your enthusiasm about this recording. First, it's obviously vinyl sourced, pops and clicks are clearly hearable since Dodo. Not really "pre-FM" reels... Second, the sound quality is very far from Perfect TSL, which I still consider as the best sounding recording of this show : deeper bass, guitar more up in the mix, better voice balance. Compare the two versions of Volcano when Daryl plays after "Blazing hot, the molten rock" : stunning reprise in TSL, far behind the voice in Westwood. Am I alone with this opinion ? [witko] I have the Westwood One version from the show 07-20 for broadcast the weekend of May 19/20 2007 with the cue sheet. Tracks are: 1.Dodo/Lurker/Abacab/com 2.Misunderstanding/No reply at all/com 3.Man on the corner/Turn it on again/com 4.Dance on a volcano/Los endos/Com 5.Show Promo 6.to 15.Spots in the clear.
