This DVD is identical to the 'Duke's Travels Live in London' DVD except that it has been remastered by Dave Briddon to include menus and chapters, and enhanced sound. The picture remains the same as the other DVD (excellent PAL quality for the most part but a bit hazy when blue lights are used.) [LivingForever] Great remaster, now the H/V ratio is correct and the image is sharper than ever; maybe the great EF group hasn't reach their best for the sound part, too much compressed. [Gigio67 Not perfect, but great quality. I find this recording particularly pleasing when I crank up the contrast in lower the brightnes a bit (to remove the noise on the picture) and also I cut the treble a bit, as I think the sound is a bit sharp on the high freequencies. [kaspergm] The picture is fine, but the audio is a bit disappointing. I did just for fun a re-authoring of this one with some slight sound editing (a little reverb and raised lows (a bit) & highs (a little bit)), which is rather easy to do and sounds way better IMO (more dynamic & "alive", better stereo separation), especially when listening to it with headphones. [neuron] The picture and sound are quite good, but they are not synched correctly. It's extremely obvious during "Turn It On Again", where Phil's clapping is not matching the audio, but it's also obvious in any tight shot on Phil's face as he's singing. It's only slightly off, but enough to be hugely distracting. [claudeballs] Interesting. I recently acquired an Epping Forest Group DVD with this title, but on playing it it's clearly a PAL conversion of TM's 'Live In London, The Lyceum Tapes, 30th Anniversary Edition', even the menus and graphics are the same, and the TM logo is blurred out but just about recognisable in the top left corner.
