Descended from the Pre-FM reels, easily the best version of this show. [LivingForever] Second generation DAT clone from broadcast reels. Better than boot versions I have heard, but I was disappointed that this version was not clearer. Seems a little rough with a bit too much hiss. Go for the Gaumont Southampton 20 Jan, Zurich 2 Jul(Digital Bros version), or Sao Paulo 21 May, shows from this tour for superior recordings. [pablo] Not the best of the 1977 soundboards, but this IS the best version available. G. [Gigio67] Yeah, not what one would expect as an FM source. I did find it to be on the rough side but enjoyed it nonetheless. It doesn't quite have the robust and dynamic quality of other known FM sources. A shame but it was a nice listen anyway. [duke23] |
