Source 1 Taper: Dan Lampinski Location: Orchestra Row K, Seat 102 (Right Center) Lineage: Sony ECM-99 Stereo Microphone > Sony TC-152SD Tape Recorder > Maxell cassettes > Nakamichi CR-3A cassette deck with azimuth correction > M-Audio Firewire Audiophile 2496 > CDWAV 24-bit/96-KHz wav files Source 2 Taper: S.P. Location: Unknown Lineage: ?Nakamichi 700? -> Master Tape -> 1st generation tape (Glasnostrd19) Note: Glasnostrd19: Way back in the late 70's I did one trade with a guy in R.I. who was a big fan of Genesis and U.K., and made three recordings that he sent me 1st gen. copies of. One was a U.K. show, one was Genesis in Boston 77 and this was the third. I don't know what mikes were used, I think the deck was a Nak. 700 and it sounds great. I traded it out on tape a couple of times so it may have been posted, but I haven't seen it posted, this is the 1st time I've posted my 1st gen. copy of it and it is the whole show. Thanks much to S.P. for this great Lamb recording. (2008) Remaster 01. Correct clicks, pops and other tape imperfections of each source 02. Adjust EQ and correct pitch in each source 03. Dynamics differed between sources so channels balanced 04. Correct speed 05. Repair missing sections using material from alternate source to complete each recording. 4 gaps repaired in SP restoring 3 minutes and 20 seconds to the recording. 3 gaps repaired in Lampinski restoring 37 seconds to the recording. 06. Sync sources 07. Create stereo field 08. Correct phasing and center sound 09. Adjust dynamics 10. Track as continuous show |
