KBFH Transcription LP. An excellent sounding recording, but suffers from the fact that it was someway down the line was edited from different sources, which in some places sound fairly obvious - for instance, at the beginning of Dodo. This might have been the original KBFH editing for all I know - but there is little doubt that Who Dunnit? is actually not from the original KBFH LPs, but from the TSL Video/Laser Disc. Still, an excellent source for this material, and with it's inclusion of Firth Of Fifth without the missing section (due to Phil's slip of mind at the Savoy) and with Who Dunnit, whatever the source, this is an important alternative to the Coaster Factory set. Still - sound is not quite as good as on the Westwood One set, due to an occasional vinyl crack/pop. [kaspergm] I have the original KBFH LPs from this show. [squonkman] |
