Remastered from GASP 014. Gaps spliced with pieces from same recording to give continuous feel. So far the best sounding complete recording of this tour, if I should say it myself. Some hiss, but apart from that 10/10. Now we're just holding out for the TM Remaster! [kaspergm] It is very interesting to hear this sbd recording after years of hearing the professionally mixed King Biscuit version. The sound is good and has a nice raw edge to it. My complaint is that, like the Cleveland and Pittsburgh recordings, this version of the Hammersmith show has very little stereo field of sound. All the instruments are crammed toward the center of the two channels, giving a virtually mono effect. With the Genesis sound from this era being so "busy", it is a shame we can't hear everything going on in a wide stereo field where it is easy to distinguish the trademark nuances of the band. In any case, this is still a good-sounding and worthy document from late in the tour. [pablo]
