This show was a prize winners' concert for the Melody Makers awards. ELP were also on the bill. It took place at the Surrey Rooms, opposite the Oval. I think Genesis had to drop out of the first date of the Lindisfarne tour to do this gig. [doublebassy] No, that's not right. This concert took place outside on the cricket pitch with the stage set up in front of the grandstand opposite the pavilion. ELP were on the bill, as were Wishbone Ash, Focus and the Jack Bruce Band.
