Unremastered from the stream at Wolfgang's Vault. This version has the Story Of Rael Part 2 in the right place. [Simon_Funnell] Gotta give it an A for simple reason that you cannot save it to disk (yet!). That said, it would still get an A from me for the overall quality of the musical performance by the band on the night. Tony's work on Carpet Crawlers; the band is truly out of sorts on "Back in NYC" (and I think it is Phil's fault) - and of course, the infamous dropping of sticks during "It" - not sure I've heard him so out of sorts. And, to be sure, Pete never really had a "great night" with the entirety of the vocal demands - additional difficulty for costume work notwithstanding. I mean, there was a reason, beyond simple vanity, that he chose to overdub new vocals before this gig was released with the boxed set. Holy Grail? hardly. Give me PRRPGS09 any day for a complete lamb experience. Until someone finds the complete set from Empire Pool when the guys were in top form. Peace! [jrromman] Seems to have some sort of tape squeal just before the start of TLLDOB? [yild4genesis] Classic only because it was released as part of Genesis Archive, otherwise, this is a sub-par Lamb performance, probably only interesting under a historic and completist POV. That's not to say there are no highlights ("The Chamber Of 32 Doors", "The Waiting Room", "The Colony Of Slippermen" and "The Musical Box" spring to mind), but when the flaws (incomplete and muffled playout after "In The Cage", Collins' weird vocalisation during "The Carpet Crawlers", Gabriel's erratic wording "Anyway", noises in the "Here Comes The Supernatural Anaesthetist" and the dropped drumstick during "It") are more interesting to hear than the music itself and better concerts (Berkeley, Cascais, Frankfurt, Dortmund, London, Southampton and, specially, Liverpool) are already in circulation, this show is hardly essential.
