A DH remaster of the BH version. Fine job by Dave Hussey and a great way to kick the BURP project back in gear. [MKB] I have this: TOUR REHEARSAL '78 - DK VERSION (1 CD) SHOWCO REHEARSALS, REUNION CENTRE - DALLAS, TEXAS - MARCH 26, 1978 CD 1. In The Cage/Ripples/One For The Vine/White Mountain/Burning Rope/Eleventh Earl Of Mar/Follow You Follow Me/The Cinema Show-In That Quiet Earth-Afterglow Anyone know about this bootleg? [joeydrums] As a rehearsal recording, it is an interesting look into the rehearsal process for this tour. The takes are quite good; a little rough around the edges at times, which is to be expected, and they even play around with how to end Follow You Follow Me. The sound quality is nothing to rave about. There is lots of hiss and the overall feel is quite dry. I have nothing to compare this to with other sources but I hear this BURP version is way better than the others. My version has Cinema Show/Afterglow tacked on the end of it. It is my understanding that this tack on was pulled from an alternate rehearsal recording containing different songs. I enjoyed this BURP recording quite alot. Id certainly recommend it. [duke23] |
