I was 13 years old at the time, and considered going to this show. It would have been my first live concert. I was a little worried because my parents had gone on and on about all the drugs and fights at these "rock" concerts. (Funny, when you think of how mild a Phil Collins show is!) I would have had to persuade them to let me attend. Plus, I had not yet met my two future fellow Genesis friends, Sean and Lewis (where are you guys?) so going alone was scary! So, I stayed home on that cold February day, and listened to Hello, I Must Be Going. Too bad. That summer I did attend my first concert ever. Peter Gabriel. [scoot] |
