Slight upgrade on the other version of this show. This version is from two 'merged' master tapes. I have recorded the concert on a Sony minidisk from the right side of the stage. A friend of mine give me anothe recording from the center-right side. The first recordings was around 1 second longer than the second so it was accellerated with Time Strech software (without pitch correction). Than the two versions where merged. Some seconds long little mistakes in the beginning of Darkness from my recording were cut and substituted with parts of the second recording. Cloudless is from the second recording too. This is a great show, there are no visual enhancement, the band was in front of the audience on a naked stage. Peter was on the left behind the keyboards. All the musicians were concentrated on playing the songs in the official presentation of the UP album. Some little mistakes somewhere but remains IMHO a great concert with a great audience. This couple of Milan concert (the other is the september 18 recording) are a 'must have' stuff for every PG collector. Inside there are some very rarely performed song like 'My Head Sound Like That', 'No way out' in the sept. 16 recording and again 'No Way Out' and 'I Grieve' in the sept. 18 recording. [mirobaldo] Peter forgets the words at the begining of the new 'UP' song 'More Than This'. Peter stops the band, jokes about his memory with the audience: "Escusa, la memoria di Piter, kaputt! Ancora una volta, More Than This!" (Sorry, Peter's memory, dead! More Than This again!). Then the song is started again |
